  • 2 cups Basmati rice (rinsed 3 times)
  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh green chili, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 2 whole cardamoms
  • 5-6 whole black peppercorns
  • 1 Tbsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. Sugar


Method of Preparation:

Take the pressure cooker and put inner pot in it.put some Butter and saute. add to this some spices for flavour like cinnamons,cumins,bayleaves,cloves,cardomoms, peppercorns.in this put some green chilli,garlic,salt and sugar.now add rice,mixed vegetables and water.press the cooker button to select white and set it to 6 minutes.place the lid.when times reaches 0 then cooker will come to keep warm.press canceland wait until steam is released.Serve ..

Texas Chili con Carne Recipes :

  • 3 Tbsp. Chili powder


  • 1 tsp. ground cumin


  • 1 tsp. oregano


  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, 1/4-inch strips


  • 4 lb. trimmed chuck roast, cut into 1/2 -inch cubes


  • 1 medium onion, diced


  • 4 jalapenos, diced. Ribs and seeds removed


  • 3 cloves garlic, minced


  • 3 cups beef stock


  • 16 oz crushed tomatoes (canned)


  • 3 Tbsp. cornmeal


  • salt and fresh black pepper


  • juice of 1 lime


Method of Preparation:

Take the power cooker and press the button CHICKEN/MEAT and set it to 20 minutes.Add the bacon and stir it well and make it crispy.set it aside.put salt and pepper in it.cook it until it becomes brown.remove the excess fat and keep it aside.Add onions,jalapenos and garlic and mix well.Add the beaf with stock to it.also add tomatoeswhich are crushed and cornmeal.place the lid and lock the pressure cooker.when the timer reaches 0 it will be automatically comes to keep warm.press cancel.slowly open the lid after the pressure is released.put some lime juice and serve.

  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup whole-milk Greek yogurt, plain
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

The Sauce:The sauce may be prepared ahead and refrigerated.

  • 1 Tbsp. ground coriander


  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin


  • 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom


  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon peeled fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, unsalted
  • 1 large white onion, chopped finely
  • 20 oz. tomato purée (canned)
  • 1 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro plus additional sprigs for garnish.


Method of Preparation:


Take one bowl an put the following spices like coriander,cumin,cardomom,nutmeg,paprika,cayenne and ginger.

Take the pressure cooker and put inner pot in it and press SOUP/STEW button.set the timer to 15 minutes.Add butter and melt it .put saute onion and stir well.put spice and ginger mixture.add tamoto puree and salt to it.simmer sauce until it gets thickened.Add yogurt marinated chicken to it.palce the lid of the pressure cooker and lock it.once the timer reaches 0 cooker will come to keep warm position.press cancel button.slowly open the lid after the steam is released completly.   • 1 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce

Method of Preparation:

  • 8 oz. plum tomatoes diced
